Chickenpox can make you very sick and very itchy as well as leaving scars but do people realise chickenpox virus remains in the body and can resurface as shingles years later and this can be very serious as well as very painful, continuing as chronic post herpetic neuralgia (nerve pain) along affected nerve, especially horrid on facial nerves. Please get your children vaccinated – they will thank you for it.
