’THE GC IS ONE SPECIAL PLACE’

THIS week marked the 12th anniversary of Sara Potter’s decision to call Australia home. The Southern Cross Austereo, Gold Coast Titans and back to Southern Cross again media sales executive reminisced on her decision to live here. “I had always craved to see Australia so after university I came travelling down under and instantly fell in love,” said Sara (pictured with BFF Chris Hemsworth.) “Three months was too short so I went home, endured a brutal winter and then booked a one-way ticket back here. As much as I do miss my UK family, friends and English pubs, I could never go back. The Gold Coast is one special place with some amazing humans. I thank my lucky stars every day that I embarked on this adventure to the other side of the world.” She really likes us!
