Lynn ‘no’ to Shield return

QUEENSLAND batsman Chris Lynn has ruled out a Sheffield Shield return this season, despite his impressive JLT One-Day Cup form.

The 28-year-old, who topped the one-day runscoring charts with 452 at an average of 75, will fly to Dubai on Sunday for Australia’s three-game Twenty20 series against Pakistan.

But the injury-plagued star said his focus was on next year’s World Cup in England, not the Shield.

“It’s currently white ball only, purely because of my body,” he said
