FISHING

BROADWATER: Plenty of flathead, whiting, and nice bream still around up in the rivers. There are lots of Mangrove jack, estuary cod, and trevally.

There are heaps of mud crabs hanging in the Nerang River and around Bond University. There are lots of blue swimmer crabs around Coomera, lots of blue swimmers in the Broadwater. Around the Hinze Dam still fishing, bass saratoga and golden perch.

BEACHES: Fishers can still get flathead whiting and still be able to fish the pumping jetty. The big swells will bring on plenty of tailor. Report supplied by Gold Coast Fishing Tackle
