VARSITY LAKES – STEALING

POLICE want to speak to the man pictured who they believe may have informatio­n regarding a theft at a Varsity Lakes bottle shop.

About 12.10pm on October 7 a man entered a Bermuda St store and allegedly removed two bottles of 700ml single malt whiskey to the value of $140 and placed them down his pants, before leaving without attempting to pay for the items.

The man is described as caucasian, aged in his mid 40s, small beard, heavy set, wearing a black cap, black shirt and black shorts.

He appears to have a tattoo on the inside of his lower left leg.

BURLEIGH HEADS – BREAK AND ENTER

POLICE have released CCTV images from a break and enter at a Burleigh office supplies store last week.

About 4.30am on Saturday, October 20, a man forced entry to the business on Kortum Dr, causing significan­t damage to the front glass door and a roller door.

The man entered and exited the business several times, stealing property such as hard-drives and portable speakers.

He is described as caucasian in appearance, with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey T-shirt, black shorts and had a red bandana over his lower-face during the incident. SOUTHPORT – UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF MOTOR VEHICLE AND STEALING POLICE would like to speak to the man pictured in relation to a car break-in at Southport last month.

On September 23 a man allegedly broke into a blue 1997 Mercedes Benz E230 parked in an undergroun­d carpark.

About 11pm a resident noticed a man sitting inside the car, which belonged to a neighbour. When approached, the man fled, stealing a pair of sunglasses.

He is described as mid 20s, of Pacific Islander appearance, about 180cm tall, with a goatee/beard and wearing a black Puma hoodie with fluoro string, black tracksuit pants and black shoes.
