SOPHIE STEPS OUT WITH NEW BEAU FOR TASTE OF MO-TOWN
THE Gold Coast’s favourite Bachelorette Sophie Monk hammed it up with a mystery beau during lunch with her parents at a swanky restaurant on Monday.
The model and personality, this month named No.1 on Maxim’s Hot 100 list, opted for a unique new accessory while at Omeros Bros Seafood Restaurant at Marina Mirage – a fake moustache.
Ms Monk jokingly tried on the moe while she waited for her meal.
“She was just having fun, laughing with the guy who was with her,” a diner said.
“They were hugging each other and just having a good time.”
Ms Monk’s father Andrew Monk, who regularly features on his daughter’s social media, and mother Sandi joined the pair for the lunch.
After a split from her Bacherlorette date Stu Laundy this year, the Love Island host announced in August she had met a new man while on a plane.
She has publicly described her secret boyfriend as an Aussie guy with a “good sense of humour” based in America.
The pair are believed to be in a long-distance relationship as they both travel regularly for work.
Sophie was not the only Gold Coaster to have made the list for the Maxim list.
Margot Robbie, hot grandma Gina Stewart, Instagram star Tammy Hembrow, Ultra Tune ambassadors (rubber girls) Tanya Hansen and Parnia Porsche, and the Hurrell sisters, Chloe and Beth, also made the list.
