MEDIA reports that the rate of people suffering with mental issues is on the rise, the minority of them being very sad and genuine cases, who desperately need our understanding and compassion.

But the majority of cases are the foolish young ones who get hooked on hard drugs (ice), who tie up the already stretched services of police, ambos and hospital emergency nursing staff who get brutalised by these young druggies who arrive at the hospitals in fits of violent rage.

I recently spoke with a police officer who agreed that out-of-control youths who are stealing cars and challenging police to a wild pursuit, obviously have no regard for the safety of police officers or the public, who think they are bullet proof, have a mental illness.

He also said the blame mostly lies at the feet of the Palaszczuk Government and lenient courts who protect these violent youths, and repeatedly release them to continue their violence.

The Queensland public are demanding the Government build more youth detention centres to get these young offenders off the streets, yet Annastacia refuses to address the problem, or even discuss it with the media. Your vote for Labor at the next election will be a vote for more violent crime.
