DAVID CLEVERLEY, CASUARINA
I AM not normally one to write letters to the paper but Katie Milne’s attempt at threatening hardworking tradies who work on the new Tweed Valley hospital site with no access to future council jobs, is appalling.
Not only would it affect the livelihoods of hard-working tradespeople and their families, but how could somebody like her use her position of power to disrupt lives to support her own views?
Unlike tradies who need ongoing work to survive, Ms Milne gets paid a wage.
Even though she has wisely backtracked, I agree with MP Geoff Provest, she should resign.
