Coast Suns player David Swallow is to be congratulated for not playing the game of AFL ‘musical chairs’. (‘Ray of hope’ Nov 8).
It is indeed a major challenge for an AFL club to keep a core of capable, dedicated players who can motivate new players in the hope of a better performance in future seasons.
Sadly, players can break contracts for several reasons which is not good for club stability.
The Suns can bounce back with plenty of local support.
Let the big men fly as high as a swallow!
