O BROTHER, HERE’S A CLEVER TRIO

- BRIANNA MORRIS-GRANT

AGED just 10, 11 and 13, the Bailey brothers have already spent years on some of the biggest film sets on the Coast.

Eldest brother Oscar got his start on children’s TV show Dirtgirlworld before bit roles in major films Pirates of the Caribbean and Swinging Safari.

His roles kick-started work for his siblings and now all three have had parts in dozens of short films.

With Oscar the star actor, Oliver the tech genius and Orlando the ideas man, the trio form a movie-making machine.

Some of their work will be shown at the Sanctuary Cove Film Festival this weekend.

“It started with me walking around the bush with a little camera, doing Steve Irwin, Bear Grylls types home videos,” Oscar said. “The best part is probably just being able to express what’s in your mind, being able to make a cool film about it.”

They aren’t taking things slowly either with Oscar having recently completed a Certificate III in Business and creating their in-house production company, Triple O Productions.

Their short films, created with fellow actor Zarlia Chisholm, have been screened at film festivals around Australia and will now feature at the Sanctuary Cove Film Festival.

Their films Don’t and Urban Myth will screen at the festival.
