PETROL THEFT — MIAMI/BURLEIGH HEADS
POLICE believe this man may be able to help with an investigation into the theft of fuel from two petrol stations. About 2.35pm on November 27, a man drove a silver Holden Commodore station wagon with Queensland plates 537 YGS to a petrol station on the Gold Coast Highway in Miami. He filled the tank with 8.4 litres of fuel, valued at $10, and approached the counter.
He allegedly told the attendant he forgot his wallet and would return to pay, but did not return.
About 6.30pm on December 3, the same man allegedly put $50 worth of fuel in the same car at a service station on Penny Lane, Burleigh Heads, and drove off without trying to pay.

A MAN has allegedly walked out with more than $2600 in vitamins and baby formula from two different stores. About 12.15pm on September 26 on Pitcairn Way, Pacific Pines, a man is accused of entering a supermarket and concealing $1330 worth of items in his bag. He allegedly left without attempting to pay for them.
That same afternoon, at 1.45pm, the same man entered a Dixon Drive, Pimpama, supermarket where he pushed a trolley to the back of the store. He allegedly put toilet paper around the edges of the trolley to leave a gap in the middle, in which he placed $1340 worth of baby formula and vitamins wrapped in a towel. STEALING — SURFERS PARADISE
A PERSON has allegedly gone on a shopping spree with a stolen credit card after a luxury handbag was taken in Surfers Paradise.
Between December 16 and 6.15am on December 17, a person is accused of gaining entry to a locked car on The Promenade, taking a luxury handbag worth $1200. The bag allegedly contained personal identification and bank cards, as well as other luxury items worth $4800.
On the same evening, bank cards were used to make eight fraudulent transactions worth $580 at stores in Bundall, Mermaid Waters, Miami, Ashmore and Broadbeach. Police would like to speak to the person pictured.
