I have just spent almost a couple of days in Robina Hospital. While I agree there wasn’t too much food available, I wasn’t there to go to a restaurant! If only the cafe stayed open late you could actually pay for your own food, that would be the better answer. You do that at home and it’s not a free feed! Docs, nurses and workers have better things to do and I am extremely thankful of how I was treated. Go Robina Hospital staff. You rock!

I am a builder on the GC who has always stayed within the rules and have used these as a life guideline as I have been ripped off both as a builder and as a subbie. Unless you are a small family builder then you may lose the lot! The QBCC are absolutely useless, as they will not back you at all when you have not been paid. Just as they were when they were when QBSA. When they finally get the spine to actually back up the builders from getting ripped off then I may have some faith in the process. Until that time I cannot see any way forward for either builders or subcontractors. Ex-QBCC panel builder. And I’m going to wait for the backlash to come for me from the QBCC but someone has to speak up.

G.C.’s China Town Lunar NY Southport’s music was such a huge disappointment. At the interval, the kind of music played was Prodigy’s ... Firestarter! And Chemical Brothers’ Free-styler! Oriental music should have been played – we felt we were in an awful rave ... outside rave, 20 years ago that is..!!! WHAT were they thinking?!?! Jess, Parkwood.

US citizens are most fortunate. Despite Arctic temperatures their nuclear power generators have run with rock-solid reliability. They have saved millions of Americans from certain death from the yearly climate change known as winter. Eva.

Greens and Independent – Dumb and Dumber, brainwashed Leftists – at its best horrible combination for the Australian future!

I’ve never actually seen a cane toad, but agree that they are a great menace. However they must feel great pain when being swiped with a golf club or baked in an oven. What does the RSPCA. think about this? We wouldn’t do it to a frog. Sinbad.

As to John Z re: Hospital Food. I, too, have had many stays at the GCUH over the last year and half. And major surgery .... open heart etc ... Not once was that a fault for the care from the beautiful nurses and doctors. Food is the last thing on your mind ... recovery comes

first. It’s not the Marriott. Please, stop whingeing. Be grateful all you people who are ungrateful for actually how lucky we are. And given so much. Some people are lucky to even have a sandwich for their evening meal. Cheers. Sandy.

So now you want kids to sit for a Digital Licence Test. When’s the test for adults or should I say I have already got a licence with my recharge voucher.

I like seeing all the stalls at the shopping centres. At least they’re working. Some people have nothing better to whinge about.

That’s our brother George. Not a yowie. He was lost many years ago up Beachmont way (but not 7000 years ago) when we pushed him off the back of the dray. As a brother he was an ugly bugger. Now we just hope he finds his way home. Arundel man.

Kristian Rees it’s always good to speak well of your boss especially when it’s Clive Palmer. But good on you for your football career. Hopefully one day we will have a another ALeague club on the Coast. And hopefully you would be coach. As surely it would be better than being Clive Palmer’s limo driver.

Give us a break you greenies and your stupid belief in global warming, Mother Nature has been looking after our planet for millions of years and will continue to do so for millions of years to come. Today’s protesting greenies consist of dole-bludging males who should have a job, and older women who have too much time on their hands and should be concerned about our homeless and hungry kids instead.

You can bet that those NAB chiefs didn’t leave with empty pockets. Barney.

So the AMA are saying, teenagers who were never vaccinated as babies, and have lived a healthy strong life regardless, are turning against their parents and getting secret vaccinations because they are scared of an illness they might get? The kids have got to teenage life without health issues, why create unnecessary stress for already overworked GPs, when it is a discussion only family should be having! “AMA, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. LS.

If two doctors are so keen to treat the people on Nauru they can bloody well go there to do it. Marj.

Re: Weekend Bulletin 2 stories. Threaten to punch magistrate gets 3 days jail. Man punches another 20 times in the head walks free from court. Please explain. Patchy.
