FISHING

OFFSHORE: There’s black marlin and dolphinfish around. Closer in there’s lots of spotty mackerel around Mermaid Reef.

ESTUARIES: There’ll be plenty of bream and mangrove jack up in the rivers. There’s good size mud crabs around as well.

FRESHWATER: Hinze Dam is fishing well for bass and saratoga. BROADWATER: There have been lots of little queenfish being caught. Some nice flathead and big garfish have also been taken in and around the shallow weed beds. In the Seaway there’s some good sized mangrove jack about. Report supplied by Gold Coast Fishing Tackle
