Cyber bullying video posted online to ‘expose’ teen culprits

- KIRSTIN PAYNE

A FAMILY friend of a schoolgirl targeted in an horrific cyber bullying video – allegedly sent by Gold Coast students – has posted it online urging it be shared and exposed.

The video, viewed 26,000 times, shows two teen girls shouting down the camera, threatening to kill the recipient.

“Everyone (expletive) hates you and everyone wants to kill you,” a teenage girl shouts.

Other girls can be heard and seen laughing off camera.

“Kill yourself before I (expletive) kill you because you are a (expletive) (expletive) and I (expletive) hate you.”

The Bulletin understands the video came to the attention of the Department of Education last year but was posted to Facebook yesterday.

The man who posted it claims to be a family friend of the intended target, who he described as a bullying victim.

“Friends and family, a good mate’s daughter had these lovely girls send her this. What would u do? Disgraceful,” he posted with the clip.

“Please share as this needs to come out and these people need to be exposed,” he posted. “We sit and do nothing and it will continue. If we act, maybe, just maybe something good will come of this,” he said.

The Department of Education would not comment on individual cases.
