MERMAID WATERS — STEAL FROM VEHICLE

A PERSON was defrauded more than $1000 when their wallet was allegedly stolen from a car in Mermaid Waters.

About 5pm on November 24, 2018, a man broke into a parked car on Intrepid Dve.

The man stole a wallet with bank cards, personal identifica­tion and $300 cash.

The stolen credit cards were then used to make six fraudulent transactio­ns around the Gold Coast worth $743, including at a Broadbeach supermarke­t and online office supply store. Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have informatio­n able to assist with the investigat­ion. Reference: QP18022062­44

MERMAID BEACH — BREAK AND ENTER

A MAN scouted a Mermaid Beach constructi­on site before returning to steal items later on that night. At 12.40pm on February 3, the man appeared at the Gold Coast Hwy site and scouted the area before leaving. He allegedly returned at 10.20pm to steal items, including building materials, machinery and laptop computers. Police believe the person pictured may be able to help them with their investigat­ion. CURRUMBIN — BREAK AND ENTER

A CURRUMBIN fish and chip store was broken into last week and items stolen.

At 1.45am on February 7, a person allegedly forced entry into the Thrower Dve business.

The person rummaged through the common area and storage rooms before stealing property. Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he could help officers with the investigat­ion.

He is described as aged in his late teens to early 20s. Reference: QP19002644­37
