THE only reason people go to mortgage brokers is because they can’t get a home loan approved through the big 4 banks and smaller banks. Due to dodgy financials, they seek mortgage brokers out to weasel a home loan out for them. It has nothing to do with getting a better interest rate on their home loan. Observer

Petition Opposes Casino Plan. When is a plan done for all in favour of a new casino. Only 9000 backed it not going ahead against a population of 600,000. That’s 1.5 percent. Let’s have all the rate payers vote on it. Bring on all the jobs and prosperity. Make the Glitter Strip glow for tourists. Brisbane got our cruise ship terminal. Pretty sad for the environment when you hear centre management at a big shopping complex is preventing its cleaners from removing cans and bottles for recycling from emptied
rubbish bins … citing stealing from the complex.
The Gold Coast lady who was supposedly inappropriately dressed for her flight is actually reasonably dressed for these days! The should show off some of the inappropriate dress examples fronting up to Her Majesty’s Courthouse in Southport these days. Would make for entertaining reading and photography. No such thing as dress standards exist any more unfortunately. BM
Why the proliferation of yellow lines across driveways all of a sudden? Driveways already have aprons to allow entry & exit & impeding access to a driveway is a fine in itself so there is no requirement for the yellow line to extend either side. Seems this is just another chance to fine ratepayers encroaching upon the yellow line while they try to park in front of their homes, squeezing in amongst the hordes of tradies & their huge utes. Ridiculous.
Obviously patients complaining re food at GCUH and Robina Hospital have never experienced the grey stuff made by prisoners for the PA Hospital disguising itself as food. I purchased a turkey roll from a food vendor who passed my room and nibbled on that for three days! Le broc.
Farmers hit hard again – years of drought, than floods – and if you get a good year you get ripped off by fat cat bankers and greedy supermarkets. You got to wonder how much longer those people will stay before our food source disappears for good. But sending billions of our money to corrupt governments overseas, no problem!

Whites Body Works has 1 car space and 1 toilet for its clients to park and use. This has worked so well for many years, because they are a panel beating business. Not a fully blown pub and restaurant set up in an industrial shed. Can someone please tell me where all of their customers are going to park and urinate or are they all going to use the tram and footpath. Please think about others, not just the coin.
