Easing ESE groundswel­l. Sets ranging from 4 to 5ft+ exposed coasts, wrapping at about 3 to 4ft+ inside the points and bays with size depending on exposure. WIND: Early lighter S/SW 5 to 10 knots inshore, tending ESE around 10 to 15 knots.

TOMORROW:

Easing ESE tradewind swell around 3 to 4ft+ exposed coasts, settling in the afternoon. Wrapping at anywhere 2 to 4ft into the points and bays with size depending on exposure. WIND: Early light and variable, tending ESE 5 to 15 knots, then NE in the afternoon.

THURSDAY:

Fading Easterly swell. Sets ranging from 2 to 3ft+ across exposed coasts, wrapping at lower levels along the points and inside the bays with size depending on exposure. Easing in the afternoon. WIND: Early lighter SSW to SSE winds inshore ahead of a strong SSE change 15 to 25 knots in the afternoon.

FRIDAY:

Smaller ESE windswell mixing with new South Swell. Ranging from 1 to 3ft exposed Qld breaks, while grading to a larger 2 to 4ft northern NSW south facing breaks. Wrapping to 1 to 2ft along the points and inside the bays with size depending on exposure. WIND: Lighter SSW inshore early, tending SE to ESE at about 10 to 15 knots.

SATURDAY:

Mix of SSE and ESE swells around 2ft+ across the most exposed coasts, grading to 1 to 2ft along the points and inside the bays. WIND: Early light and variable inshore, tending ESE to ENE 10 to 15 knots.
