CURRUMBIN — STEALING

POLICE would like to speak to a man who may have informatio­n about the theft of a ute at Currumbin. Between 10-11am on February 9, a man gained entry into a 2013 black Holden Commodore ute on Tomewin St, with Queensland registrati­on 338 YEZ. The vehicle hasn’t been found.

BUNDALL — STEALING

POLICE want to talk to this woman about the theft of a $1700 laptop from an electrical store at Bundall. At 1.20pm on February 5, a woman entered an electrical store in Upton St and went to the computer section.

The woman allegedly removed the security tag, put the ASUS laptop into her bag and left the store without trying to pay. Police would like to speak to the woman pictured. She is described as caucasian, in her 40s, 166cm tall, of proportion­ate build with short blonde hair and a fair complexion. She was wearing a black dress, with black and white slides, and carrying a black bag.

BROADBEACH — STEALING

A PAIR of $220 Nike shoes were taken from a sports store on Hooker Blvd, Broadbeach, at 2.50pm on February 3.

A man is accused of speaking to staff about a pair of Nike Air Max shoes, which the staff member collected for him to try on.

While the staff member was distracted, the man allegedly placed the shoes into a box at the front of the store and left the shop with them without trying to pay.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured, as he may be able to help with investigat­ions into the matter.
