There’s heaps of things you can do to fill in your lunch break, from playing sport and socialisin­g to joining a club or fitting in study at the library LUNCH break is a favourite subject for many. However, many pupils are faced with the dilemma of not knowing what to do during their breaktime. Here are seven fun ways you can use your lunch break.

1. PLAY SPORT.

There are plenty of sporting activities for students to take part in at school, so check out what your school has available for you.

2. SOCIALISE.

Break free from your usual friend group. Walk around. Talk to others, meet new people, make friends.

3. CHILL WITH FRIENDS.

A quick get together with friends is a great way to spend lunchtime. You can also catch up on all the latest gossip.

4. HANDBALL.

An Australian icon, every Aussie kid should participat­e in an exhilarati­ng game of handball at least once in their lifetime.

5. JOIN A CLUB.

As cliche as it sounds, joining clubs not only gives you something to do with your time, but also develops skills that are helpful for your future.

6. CHESS.

Whether your school hosts a weekly chess tournament, or your friendship group finds the activity interestin­g, a friendly game of chess is a great way to spend the break.

7. STUDY AT THE LIBRARY.

Revision, preparatio­n for a test, or a catch up for the next class, a study session at the library is always useful.
