STEALING — HELENSVALE

A MAN has allegedly walked into a Helensvale liquor store and taken alcohol without attempting to pay. Around 5.45pm on February 1, a man entered a Sir John Overall Dve store and selected two 10-can packs of Jack Daniel’s Double Jack, worth $55 each, as well as one 10-can pack of Canadian Club and dry, also worth $55. It is alleged he then left the store without attempting to pay for the goods. Police would like to speak with the man pictured as he may have informatio­n that can help them with their investigat­ion. He is described as 182cm tall, of Maori appearance and in his 30s, with a solid build and a tanned complexion. He was wearing shorts and a blue and white striped shirt.

POLICE would like to speak to the man pictured as they believe he may be able to help them with their investigat­ion into the theft of an item from a Burleigh Heads electrical store. He is described as aged in his 30s, caucasian, 180cm tall and of slim build, with a fair complexion, dark brown short hair and a scruffy beard. He was wearing a dark grey baseball cap with grey shorts and a dark grey T-shirt with “Midnight tides” written on the front. It is alleged that between 3.48pm and 3.54pm on February 25, a man entered a Kortum Dve business before allegedly taking a wireless four-channel relay valued at about $100.

He allegedly left the store without attempting to pay.

A MAN has allegedly walked out of a hardware store at Oxenford with more than $300 worth of tools. Around 4.15pm on February 1, a man entered the Global Plaza business and selected a Ryobi Impact Drill and an 18-volt battery and charger. The items are worth $308 altogether.

He then allegedly placed them into a bag he was carrying before attempting to leave the store. A staff member requested he show his bag, but he allegedly refused to do so and left without paying. Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may be able to assist with their investigat­ion. He is described as having a proportion­ate build and a fair complexion, and was wearing an orange high-vis shirt with short black sleeves, black shorts, white joggers and a black cap.
