TOMORROW: Mid period Southerly groundswell holds at a solid 3 to 5ft across northern NSW south-facing coasts, more like 2 to 4ft along open beaches. Wrapping at a slow 2 to 3ft exposed Qld beaches and grading tiny along the points and inside bays. WIND: WSW to SSW 10 to 20 knots, tending South during the morning and lighter SE in the arvo.

SATURDAY: Potential for a stronger increase in Southerly groundswell. Northern NSW: Consistent 5 to 8ft across south facing coasts, grading to 3 to 6ft along open beaches with size depending on exposure. Wrapping at a slow 3 to 4ft+ exposed Qld beaches and grading to 1 to 3ft along the points and inside the bays with size depending on exposure.. WIND: Early light SW to SSW up

to 10 to 20 knots, tending Southerly, SSE 15 to 25 knots.

SUNDAY: SSE groundswell slowly eases. Sets around 5 to 6ft+ across northern NSW south-facing coasts, wrapping at 3 to 4ft+ exposed Qld beaches and grading to 1 to 3ft along the points and inside bays. WIND: Early SW to SSW 10 to 15 knots, tending lighter SSE to SE in the afternoon.

MONDAY: SSE swell slowly eases. Speculatively 3 to 5ft across northern NSW southfacing coasts, wrapping at 2 to 3ft+ exposed Qld beaches and grading to 1 to 3ft along the points and inside bays. WIND: Westerly 5 to 10 knots, potentially tending WSW to SW and freshening in the afternoon. TUESDAY: Potential for rebuilding Southerly swell.
