Mobile phones to be banned in Victorian school classrooms next year and stowed away in lockers, but why wait til next year, why not straight away? Imagine Annastacia implementing this, she would have to consult her greenie mates first and get their approval and then it would be held up for years, just like the Adani mine saga. Poor old backward Qld under too many years of a Labor Gov. Judith, retired teacher

If there is a god would he be on the side of a Lamborghini driving multi-millionaire who reneged on his rugby contract, or the gays and drunks he has vilified? Grey

Totally agree about bus stop shelter shortage. Have to stand with my grandson with umbrella when it rains waiting for school bus, like today. When hot you stand there getting scorched from sun. VR 4223

Why the concentration on homosexuals in Folau posting what the Bible said about various types of people. What about the fornicators.? I don’t see anyone getting upset about them. Seems very discriminatory and biased towards just homosexuals to me. What about fornicator rights? KJ

I thought Noel’s comments on this page were on the money … it’s a good bet the only people who think he lacks sporting knowledge are from across the Tasman.

‘Downtown Deli’ at Chirn Park does a damn good sanga. Fresh as, especially the bread rolls. Mmmmm

Supercars dumped?

Beautiful young women glory in their attractiveness. This is much appreciated by the large majority of us oriented in line with evolutionary biology. Are the backroom wowsers who shut down beauty pageants so old, stunted, ugly, and abnormal that they envy and hate glorious, natural, youth and fitness? Shano

Forget golf buggies on roads. What about undersized, underpowered, unregistered, unlit almost unseen mobility scooters? Scary stuff - Curly Bells

You know, us “hippy” oldies have been concerned for years of the impact the “new stuff & new ideas” could have on our earth. Back then, paper bags were used to pack our groceries. Trees & forests being decimated all over! Trees had to be saved! Done! Hooray! Trees saved, plastic bags followed. Thank you designers of earth-friendly, degradable plastic bags! They

work extremely well! Then of late, some idiot convinces major supermarkets to ditch earth-friendly option for “a re-usable” plastic bag. Biggest mistake I’ve seen ever in my lifetime! nnnn

Sam Kerr, Sally Fitz, Ash Barty and now Hannah Green – great kids, wonderful ambassadors and then you have Tomic and Kyrios. Enough said.

Foolish enough to trust “socalled experts”, then go on telly to declare - under law, undying, lifelong love & commitment to someone you & your family have never ever, met nor know absolutely nothing about? Then expect it to work? As often stated in

they’re dreaming!! How low are we going to go to be entertained?

GC Gaven. You obviously did not understand what I said. In short: if you are entering a roundabout with two lanes and you are on the left lane you do not put your indicator to go across straight ahead. However, if you are on the right lane you must indicate with your left indicator if you are going straight ahead. You only indicate left if you are taking the first exit. If you are going to take he third exit then you must put your right indicator on while you are going around about and then as you are about to enter the third or fourth exit then you put your left indicator on. Sorry you are the one who needs to get his facts straight. JR Ashmore

Geez the sound was deafening, all the people whinging about the debt federal Labor left six years ago that their children’s children will be paying off forever. Well six years down the track the Coalition government has DOUBLED the debt. Can’t hear anyone now. Maybe I need a hearing aid. LM

As we are roundabout

talking rules,

about can someone please explain to these morons that you can’t race around a left hand turn in front of a car turning right on a roundabout. Give way signs rule the roundabouts and that means you GIVE WAY to cars already on the roundabout, especially those that are turning in front of you.

Re Folau ... I think everyone is missing the big picture. When he gets to court and wins, which he will because the legal system is broken. Rugby Australia will have to pay all costs and any awarded damages. This could bankrupt them. Maybe RA should start their own fund and all the rugby stalwarts fight for their game.

Try IGA at Robina Village, near the Tavern, they will make you a fresh sandwich. All you need to do is ask.
