POLICE would like to speak with these two men about a break and enter of an underground car park and theft of protein powder at Varsity Lakes. Sometime between 3pm on Tuesday, May 28 and midday on Wednesday, May 29, a person attended the underground carpark of a unit complex on Varsity Pde and broke into a locked storage cage belonging to a 23-yearold woman. The person has stolen two big bags of protein powder valued at $1000 and fled.

Later in the afternoon of May 29, the woman received a phone-call from her old employer – a sports nutrition store – advising two men had attended its Robina outlet and attempted to return protein powder, using a receipt with her name on it, for a refund of $1000. The men were declined and left the store.

Around 3.30pm the next day, May 30, the smaller man allegedly attended the business’s Southport outlet and again attempted to return the protein power for a refund, but was refused and left the store. REFERENCE: QP1901040354
