PALM BEACH — ASSAULT

POLICE are hunting a man who allegedly broke another man’s jaw at a hotel in Palm Beach. It is alleged the altercatio­n happened over a pokie machine between 6.30pm and 7pm on June 14 at the Gold Coast Highway property. After the attack on the 20-year-old victim, the alleged offender fled the property. Police would like to speak to the man in the pictures, as he may have informatio­n relating to the attack.

THREE people have allegedly made off with a trolley full of stolen machinery and tools from a Mermaid Waters hardware store.

Between 2pm and 3pm on June 14, three people entered the Markeri Street business.

They filled hand baskets with items before meeting at the back of the store where they allegedly loaded a trolley with the items.

The women then left out of the front door while the man pushed the trolley out a back door.

A WOMAN has allegedly stolen intimate clothing worth hundreds of dollars from a Broadbeach store. On May 13 around 5.40pm, a woman entered the Hooker Boulevard shopping centre where she went to the lingerie area in a department store. After going into a fitting room, the woman paid for a pair of slippers, but allegedly left the store without paying for a number of other items.

The items allegedly stolen include: Bonds Bikinis ($32.95), Bonds bra ($10), Bonds socks ($17.95) and a Papinelle silk pillow case worth $79.95.

Police would like to speak to the woman pictured as she may be able to help investigat­ors with some informatio­n concerning the theft. She is described as caucasian, 18-22 years old, with black hair and wearing a white T-shirt, black trackies and black shoes with a large bag.
