NSW PLAYER RATINGS

-

1. James Tedesco 9 Another outstanding game from the man of the series. Always looked dangerous.

2. Blake Ferguson 8 Most of his runs came near the Blues tryline but kept turning up. Set up the match winner.

3. Tom Trbojevic 5

Little impact. Failed to lift in the biggest game of the series and dropped the ball in a good position early.

4. Jack Wighton 6 Struggled to find ways to inject himself and went missing.

5. Josh addo-carr 6 Threatened to break the defensive line but never got into open space. 6. James Maloney 6

Didn’t control the way he usually does and showed little creativity. Grew into the game.

7. Mitchell Pearce 6

Gutsy under pressure but needed more from his forwards. Kicking game was questionable.

8. Daniel saifiti 5

Couldn’t flip the script for NSW when he came off the bench. Hardly sighted.

9. Damien cook 7

Less direct running from dummy half but showed his speed on his way to a try.

10. David Klemmer 8 A workhorse for the Blues. Did most of their hard running but needed more ball and support.

11. Boyd cordner 8

A captain’s knock. Did his utmost to lift his team and provided the most spark.

12. Tyson Frizell 5 One run in the first half for just 10m. He was a passenger NSW didn’t need.

13. Jake Trbojevic 6 Second-best to the Maroons forwards but did little wrong.

14. Paul Vaughan 7

Barged over for NSW’s first try.

15. Dale Finucane 6 Produced some strong runs and gained precious metres for NSW.

16. cameron Murray 7 Got his chance late and broke away to give NSW another chance to bury the game.

17. Wade Graham 5 Wasn’t the impact player NSW wanted him to be but didn’t do much wrong.
