WINNERS
Bill The Conqueror (Race 1)
It was a strong start to the day for punters as Bill The Conqueror recorded a classy victory. It took him a while to fight off Dee Cee Delights but he kept on finding and raced away from his rivals.
Mishani Romance (Race 2) Mishani Romance always looked the winner in this contest. Ryan Plumb settled him just outside the leader and he showed an excellent turn of foot to put the race to bed.
Coulthard (Race 8)
Punters had to wait for the final race of the day for the most impressive performance. It was very hard to make up ground down the outside of the track all day, but that didn’t stop Coulthard and he absolutely savaged the line in the final stages of the race to record a solid victory. LOSERS
Crazy Good (Race 2)
Crazy Good’s performance was so poor that stewards opened an inquiry. Emma Ljueng opted to settle him in the second half of the field and he loomed at the top of the straight, but he had absolutely nothing left in the tank and was beaten by eight lengths.
Mogador (Race 3)
Mogador looked to have a class edge over the rest of this field, but he cost himself victory with his poor racing manners. He overraced in the early stages of the race and It took him too long to wind up in the final 300m. NEXT TIME
Absolute Glory (Race 6) Absolute Glory may have started at $41 with Ladbrokes, but it took an excellent performance from the well-backed Zoulou Dancer to deny him victory. His closing sectionals were the best in the race and she did that despite losing her momentum on a couple of occasions.
Argie Bargie (Race 7)
Argie Bargie kicked clear at the top of the straight and looked like she would steal victory. Ruler ended up finding clear running and finishing over the top of her, but there was plenty of merit in the performance. BIG BETS
