WHAT THE FANS HAD TO SAY
Once again a coach is made the scapegoat for a team not performing. How about those players getting the chop or club management taking some responsibility as well ... it’s not always the coach at fault. Doug
Titans. will Mal Meninga’s report correctly suggest that the players should be sacked for not being able to play rather than the coach? If Brennan sacked, let Meninga coach and be sacked if Titans don’t win all their remaining games. Bill, Surfers Paradise
The Titans need look no further than Facebook for the new coach. Plenty of opinionated experts there. Coaster
Now that Brennan is history, time for the Titans to bring in someone with some discipline like “Hook” Griffin, not Kevin Walters ... and ditch the useless management team as well. D.A. Luig
When do players accept full responsibility for year after year of poor performances? They are paid “professionals” after all. Instead the coach takes it. Red
We the Titans members turn up every home game, even away games from time to time. I reckon we “turn up” more often than those numbered 1-17. Garth Brennan fan
The Titans coach was a dead man walking the moment Mal Meninga was called in to peek over his shoulder. Lydia
The club can’t afford to give the coaching position to a rookie coach again. It has to look at NRL experienced coaches. If not the club will fold, no bums on seats etc etc. For mine, Toovey, Barrett or Flanagan at present. Mick Shephard Senior
Look at the players and there’s no excuse for where they are on the ladder. Something had to give but I hope another club snaps up Garth Brennan. A totally decent individual and an astute rugby league brain. KelB
