I haved lived in Lower Beechmont for 14 years and find it’s the impatient locals and speeding motorcycles that are a lot more dangerous than pushbike riders. I have not heard of a pushbike going over the side of the road due to speeding!

Nothing creates more “Road Rage” than those blind prats who stop more than 2 metres behind the vehicle in front of them and thus cause traffic congestion to those behind... when there is a green arrow to allow vehicles to turn right at an intersection. Take Ferry Rd and Skiff/Cotlew sts for example ... daily there are vehicles prevented from turning right because of one or two dumb, selfish drivers who do not use their common sense or rear view mirrors.

Sentenced to over 4 years and 8 months jail but eligible for parole in April? What is it with the sentencing? What happened to “do the crime do the time”? The sentencing in Australia is not a deterrent .
