TRIPLE CHANCE TO WIN GREAT AUSSIE DREAM

- MIKAELA DAY mikaela.day@news.com.au

THE winner of the latest RSL Art Union draw will secure the keys to a Gold Coast penthouse, two townhouses and two apartments in the one block worth $6.1 million.

It is part of a triple treat of draws, alongside a $4.1 million Palm Beach house and the interstate trifecta with an apartment in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane totalling $2.4 million.

The three-storey, fourbedroom beach house has an estimated rental return of almost $100,000 and comes complete with more than $150,000 worth of inclusions.

The unit complex will be drawn on Christmas Eve and a tree with presents underneath will be part of the winnings.

The three separate draws include nine homes and $12 million worth of property. Tickets start at $5.

RSL Art Union’s Sarah Butler said the home lottery gave everyone the chance to live the great Australian dream.

“Our prizes are life changing on two fronts,” she said.

“Not only does it go to the veterans and provide vital services including physical and mental rehabilitation, but it is also life changing for the winner.

“A lot of our winners aspire to live in a house like this and it really does change their life when they win a multimillion-dollar property that’s fully furnished.

“Our last draw sold out and our current draw is about to sell out so it’s really important that customers get in quick.”

Ms Butler said the draws were the richest prize pool to ever be offered.

“Our biggest ever prize home, our Golden Treasure, is a $6 million entire apartment complex on the Gold Coast and that will be opening in a couple of weeks but customers can pre-order (tickets) already. Last year’s draw was the biggest and that was $5 million ... I imagine next year is going to be bigger and better again.”
