THE tiny Pacific Islands said to be at risk of rising sea levels, aren’t! Just as they were not in 1950. At a mere 150 mill above sea level, (six inches in American), severe storms at high tide will flood low sand islands occasionally, creating chaos. they always have. Climate changers say the sea will rise a metre, so if true, Tuvalu is certain to be submerged, nothing can save it. Unless ‘rising’ sea levels are a myth, of course! Fifty islands predicted to be underwater by the year 2000 have been taken off the endangered list by the IPCC, due to sea levels failing to co-operate with the predictions. While Tuvalu hosts one single resident, universally rising sea levels are demonstrated to be about as real as the Loch Ness monster. A proven nonsense. Bruce Cramond.
