STEALING — MERMAID WATERS

A MAN put $93 of fuel in a car at a Mermaid Waters petrol station before claiming he left his wallet at home. On September 3 at 6.30am the man filled up a blue Nissan D23 with 64 litres of diesel at a Hooker Blvd service station. It is alleged he entered the station to advise the attendant he didn’t have his wallet and couldn’t pay for the petrol. The man was advised to make arrangemen­ts to pay the petrol before leaving the premises, but failed to do so. The man is accused of returning to his car and driving away. Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have informatio­n relating to the alleged theft.

TWO men allegedly stole $2500 worth of tools from an undergroun­d carpark on the southern Gold Coast. At 11.30pm on August 14 two men attended a Golden Four Dve apartment complex at Bilinga. It is alleged they drove a stolen grey 2009 BMW 320I sedan, broke into the carpark, took the tools and fled the scene. The stolen car was found at Broadbeach at 9.30am on August 18.

A MAN is accused of hiding a bottle of vodka in his bag before walking out of a Miami bottle shop without paying. On September 3 at 2.30pm, the man walked into the store along the Gold Coast Hwy and selected a 700mL bottle of Grey Goose vodka, worth $75. It is alleged the man hid the bottle in his bag before leaving without trying to pay. Police would like to speak to the man pictured. Reference: QP19017233­73
