- Might possibly control kids. Al their

Couldn’t agree more with Hard-hearted Hannah. The parents would soon start to take responsibility for their kids when it hits them in the hip pocket. Dee.

This revolving door called the Juvenile Justice system has to be changed now before someone is killed. As a retired police officer of 31 years, I have seen the changes in the laws many times. There are only two practical ways to deal with juvenile repeat offenders. 1. Make their parents responsible for the crimes of their kids. Parents should be fined for the offence and in extreme cases jailed. 2. Take away the liberty of the juvenile repeat offender, if only for a few weeks. Back in the 80s they were sent to juvenile centres where they received three meals a day, visits from their parents but no TV no other privileges. They had to earn the right with their behaviour to watch TV. Socialise with others their own age, it taught them they had to earn respect through good behaviour to be rewarded. Razor.

Can all the good people who prayed for rain just stop for a little while please, l am tripping over my webbed feet. PK.

Re fare evasion by young students on public transport. Every school has a photo of every student. With facial recognition available why not identify the students responsible and then send the bill and a fine to the parents. The behaviour would change very quickly if there was a financial deterrent.

I was a little concerned when I heard that NASA were sending a rocket to the sun. My mind was put at ease though, when I heard they were going at night time. Coaster.

Ron, Runaway Bay. Re hospital milk contracts. The company was chosen for its consistent processing capacity. The milk is still sourced from local farmers. Dairy facts. Palmy

So non-Australian-born people who identify as Aborigines can’t be deported but caucasian people can, isn’t that the definition of racism? I’ve spent 49 of my 50 years here, my father and his father and grandfather were born here, but I haven’t got these exclusive rights? What happened to equal rights. Cedric

It’s a sad Government who relies on an economic boost from 2032 Games when infrastructure up and down Qld is a disaster. Bring on the elections. OX
