A POPULAR Gold Coast restaurant has added swanky takeaway cocktails to its dial and drive-through service.

Mamasan Restaurant and Bar at Broadbeach has concocted six premium cocktails for locals to take home in a customised bottle so they don’t miss out on hitting the town.

The new addition to the takeaway menu has already proven popular with 50 of the drinks selling on the first night.

Mamasan co-owner Lauren Duitsch said the response from customers had been phenomenal.

“I think people are itching to get out and enjoy themselves again,” she said.

“So we decided to make and bottle cocktails so people could still have home.

“This is the closest thing people can get to a night out at the moment so they are really loving it.

“The idea has been a few weeks in the making.” that experience at

The cocktails come in 100ml or 200ml glass bottles and range from $16 to $20 for more premium blends.

“We were afraid we were going to sell out on the first night,” said Ms Duitsch.

“We had a lot of response on Instagram with people tagging us in their photos drinking the cocktails so that was really cool to see.”

Some of the options include The Big Boss which has chilliinfused tequila, lime, agave and pineapple or Hanamachi which is vodka, elderflower, apple, yuzu and lychee.

Another favourite is the Shogun Assassin which is Nikka from the barrel whiskey, Nikka Youichi, Angostura bitters, sugar, sesame oil and orange.

Takeaway cocktails can be ordered by phone and picked up or delivered and will be available nightly and at lunchtime on weekends until normal trade resumes.

Ms Duitsch said online ordering would be available from next week.
