HOTA brings back a crowd

THERE were plenty of smiles at HOTA on Sunday for the first large-scale event since COVID-19 restrictions forced the cultural hub to close its doors.

Close to 400 guests were social-distanced due to the organisers chalking out circles for friends and family to have their own space at the outdoor event.

Electrik Lemonade was the headline act at the free community shindig and the donate-what-you-can sausage sizzle was a big hit.

The next event is on July 26, however, be sure to snap up your free tickets quickly as it will be another sell-out soiree.
