COAST’S FIRST STOP FOR TOURISTS

-

TOURISM competitors have joined forces to bring a first of its kind experience to the Gold Coast, just in time for the school holidays.

Gold Coast-based company Experience Oz has worked with the city’s entertainment companies, including Village Roadshow, Dreamworld and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, to bring the first ever Experience Centre to Queensland.

Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, the 350sq m building will be a friendly, welcome hub for visitors and locals looking to find the best deals on things to do on the Gold Coast.

The centre features an in-house cafe, luggage storage facilities, a lolly store and charging stations.

Experience Oz special projects general manager Craig Undery said the new concept store would be a fantastic addition for the Gold Coast and would contribute to the overall experience of visitors to the city.

“We are pleased to be able to start welcoming people through the doors at the Experience Centre and are excited to be able to showcase the range of things to do on the Gold Coast and in surrounding regions in one physical location,” he said.

“We are calling on locals from the Gold Coast and surrounding regions to try an experience they’ve never done before this school holidays and help put a smile back on the faces of local tourism business owners, who have been delighting visitors near and far for years.”

Next Saturday Sea World will provide a special visit from SpongeBob and Patrick from 10am to noon, followed by an opportunity to see Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s loveable Blinky Bill on Sunday from 10am to noon.
