THE race that stops the nation is set to go ahead without crowds in Victoria but it’s not stopping Gold Coaster “St James” celebrating the Melbourne Cup carnival in style.
The singer will join DJ Marea to entertain 220 punters at an extravagant Miss Moneypenny’s event in Broadbeach on Tuesday.
“It’s going to be a day to remember,” she said.
“I can’t wait to pop some champagne, get a little fancy and put on a good show. I think everyone is excited to party despite COVID-19.”
Guests will enjoy G.H Mumm, a four-course lunch, three-hour drinks package, fashions on the field, all the action on the big screen and live entertainment.
The event was one of the first events to sellout on the Coast in August and is already taking bookings for 2021.
Events at The Yot Club, Palazzo Versace and The Star Gold Coast have also sold out.
