Ex-bikie socialite charged

- MARK MORRI

FORMER Sydney bikie associate, now socialite, Mark Judge has been arrested and charged for allegedly assaulting former girlfriend Carolina Narvaez in the days before Christmas.

Judge, 41, a former Rebels associate, was arrested at a Byron Bay beach home on Saturday morning after a warrant was issued relating to an alleged attack on Ms Narvaez in Sydney on December 21.

Ms Narv vaez, an Ecuadorean, moved into Judge’s Vaucluse apartment in August and the pair has only recently split up.

Police say they received a report that Judge entered a business in George St in the city and allegedly assaulted Ms Narvaez, 36, including attempting to choke her.

An investigation by Sydney City Police Area Command into the allegations led to the arrest of Judge at Byron Bay at 11.15am on Saturday.

He was taken to Byron Bay Police Station and charged with domestic violence assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choke person and stalk and intimidate persons.

Judge, known as a man about town despite his links to the Rebels bikies, has recently become a friend of heiress Francesca Packer, with the pair photographed in Sydney restaurants and Judge attending her 26th birthday on the harbour last month.

Raised in Penrith, Judge lives in Vaucluse and hit the headlines over the years for attempts on his life and a wild drug binge with former Home and Away star Jodi Gordon resulting in the pair calling police believing five masked men were trying to attack them.

In 2011, Judge was found outside the same apartment after being stabbed nine times and miraculously survived.

He was due to appear in Lismore Local Court on Sunday.
