Boutique family law firm rides the Wave
BROADBEACH offices are seeing a ‘wave’ of activity with a new family law firm the latest addition to the line-up.
Richardson Murray Family Law has leased 273sq m at The Wave building on Surf Parade in a deal struck by Tania Moore of CBRE.
The term is five years with one five-year option and the rate is understood to be $505sq m gross plus GST.
Partner Anton Richardson said the location was key for his firm.
“We have ample free parking for our clients right in the heart of the Gold Coast. We represent clients from all parts of the Gold Coast and so having such a central location is of utmost importance,” he said. Mr Richardson said there was a growing need for specialised family law firms
on the Gold Coast. “Over the years we have learned that clients want a family law firm they can trust, with lawyers who are best in class and committed to excellence,” he said.
“Family law is a very specialised area of law that requires lawyers who practise exclusively in the field. We therefore decided to create a boutique family law firm that practices only in family law.”
Ms Moore said Broadbeach offered occupiers retail amenity and public transport links favoured by tenants.
“The Broadbeach market is still strong. Interest in that precinct has not waived even through COVID.”
Other recent deals struck for the Wave by Ms Moore include Ingenious Homes, headed by Heath Burns, which has relocated from
their existing Broadbeach premises to take 246sq m.
A new Sydney-based real estate agency has also secured 213sq m. Both leases were struck on the same terms as the Richardson Murray lease. The office space at The Wave is owned by Framwelgate Investment Limited and spans 3738sq m. Tenants include ANZ, Aon, Machines4u and the Gennari Group.
