SWEET TREATS THE ORDER OF THE DAY AT COWCH
A GOLD Coast dessert bar has launched a $2.5m production facility to “take the experience to the next level” so they can serve handmade products to their loyal customers.
Cowch Dessert Bar is launching the Dream Factory in Morningside, Brisbane, which will manufacture 80 per cent of products by hand.
Along with the Dream Factory, Cowch released a new menu this week, which includes handmade Cookie Pancake stacks, Milky Way crepes, Passionfruit Punch cocktail and the Unicorn cocktail.
Cowch founder and managing director Arif Memis said quality was always priority, but the Dream Factory would allow them to serve authentic handmade food, including gelato, pancakes, waffles, crepes, churro mix, waffle cone mix, crumble, brownie and syrups.
“I’m so excited to be launching the Dream Factory because I know we can now control the sweetness levels, the fluffiness and the buttery-ness,” Mr Memis said.
“During the past seven years of operating Cowch, we have learnt and understood the demand for quality and know there is a major movement around Australia and worldwide to understand where food and drink come from.
“It’s our way of saying a big thank-you to our customers who have supported us during the past seven years,” Mr Memis said.
Cowch Broadbeach venue manager Natarsha Goodwin said she was excited to see the public’s reaction to the new menu.
“The Cowch Broadbeach team have all been a part of getting the kitchen ready for these delicious new products,” Ms Goodwin said.
“It’s not just the head office and the pastry chefs who were testing and tasting the new pancakes, waffles and other items – it was all of us.
“Knowing exactly how these products are made, and that they are handmade by the best pastry chefs, we are so excited and proud to be serving these new dishes to you.
“We know the quality is next level and we are only serving up the best.”
