- ALEISHA DAWSON 88-PAGE Master-built REAL ESTATE MAGAZINE INSIDE SATURDAY

THE Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, has been invited to stay in the Gold Coast’s most expensive mansion when she visits Australia next month.

If Zara and her husband, former international rugby player Mike Tindall, take up the offer, they would move into the infamous mega mansion owned by Perth-based engineer Riccardo Rizzi on Sovereign Islands, which has an eye-watering rental price tag of $250,000 a week.

The pair are expected to jet

into the Gold Coast for the Magic Millions yearling sale in January.

Their potential home away from home – Villa Vittoria at 26 Knightsbridge Parade East – went on the market this week for a record price of $50m, with a Princess 55-foot superyacht and a brand-new Bentley Continental GT V8 thrown in.

Marketing agent Alex Caraco of Raine & Horne Elite in Southport was tight-lipped when it came to his potential royal guests and directed all inquiries to his publicist Max Markson.

“I’ve extended an invitation to Zara and her family to stay with us during the Magic Millions as our guests,” Mr Markson said.

“I think it probably is on par with Buckingham Palace, in my opinion, and it’s got a better view.”

Set across five north-facing blocks on the picturesque Broadwater, it has six bedrooms and a private maids’ quarters, as well as a wellness suite with massage room, a Turkish bathhouse, gym, 25m pool, and change room.

Zara will be attending equine event the Magic Millions, which includes showjumping, polo, a $10m race day and international yearling sales.

In previous years, Zara has taken to the polo field on the Gold Coast with the likes of Argentinian Nacho Figueras, former NRL legend Billy Slater and Winx jockey Hugh Bowman, while her husband provided the commentary.

Granddaughter to Queen Elizabeth, Zara is 21st in line to the throne and the daughter of Princess Anne.

The World Champion Olympic equestrian silver medallist will be the latest high-profile, international visitor to Queensland, with George Clooney and Julia Roberts currently filming Ticket to Paradise.
