tactic to turn the public against council staff just as the new wage bargaining agreement was starting. These events haven’t happened for 3 years anyway due to Covid so he is just grandstanding. Coaster

If every world leader since 1953 was half as good as Queen Elizabeth then this world would be in a far better place than it is today, so to all those current leaders or those aspiring to be leaders, best you all lose the egomania status and start to do your DUTY not for you, your family, or country but EVERY citizen who deserves to live a full and honest life. Good to see the Indigenous flag and Aus flag flying at half mast to acknowledge the passing of the Queen. Is this reconciliation or accidental result of tokenism? Geoff

We got cameras EVERYWHERE! Yet police always need help with identification of people and vehicles!!! Get cameras that can easily recognise number plates and faces. They are out there. Why have those useless ones?

Re: Coolie Scooter Grunt. Yeah that’s right let’s find this (oldish) fella & prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. Even jail him. But let the REAL criminals go free. Broadbeach Oldie

Developers using loopholes to rescind real estate contracts in order to resell property for higher prices will be dealt karma when the real estate market falls, the greedy grubs.

The logic behind suggestions there shouldn’t be pay rises for workers because it raises the cost of living is downright twisted. In fact it’s bonkers, earth shatteringly stupid, nonsense. There has been wage stagnation, thanks to the policies of the former LNP government, but If there had been no pay rises at all, workers would be starving and homeless.

And when predictions are made and then proven wrong the doomsday spruikers invent another catastrophic event to take its place, and along the way make plenty of money selling things to save you, like solar panels, EV’s and zero energy. Please give us a break. The Real Science Believe.
