NRL playing, tribunal and bunker rules need to be overhauled to overcome controversies that are spoiling the game. Among the most contentious is the inability of the bunker to rule on forward passes involved in the play leading to a try. If the bunker can rule on obstructions, grounding the ball, knock-ons, remaining in touch, etc. etc., in a movement leading to a try, why not rule on forward passes, particularly when they are so prevalent and can decide matches?

Obviously I have no imagination. I’m looking at the design for a new 18 storey tower at Burleigh with the headline ‘Designed to look like Burleigh Headland’. I’ve walked the headland many many times & frequent Burleigh beach & there is no way I can see the headland in this building. Do I like the design?
