Nappies are like politicians, they need to be changed often, for the same reason.

There are probably more than a few people living in industrial and commercial buildings, including “man caves”, that have kitchenettes and ablution facilities, because of the rental crisis. This shows that people would be prepared to live in “tiny homes” if more of these were built. It is also time builders considered building more basic houses.

Youth crime. Bring back the cane in school. Six of the best will soon jerk them into reality. Mousey

Re core of juvenile crime problems, in places like Japan & Singapore,

respect and courtesy is taught from day one. Legal system is brutal on offenders. In Singapore military service is compulsory. Result is very safe, very crime free and respectful populations. The system can and does work. CAP

To no name GCB 24/2 - great idea sending ex crims to tour schools to talk about the life in goalunfortunately these grubs don’t go to school!

The diaries of these school teachers is just a Normal day for most folks!! I’m not sure what the problem is!!??? Lots of double handling happening that’s for sure and few “cry me a river” present.

Yep Parkwood 24/2 that early morning drive on M1 north with tradies puts your life in their hands. And P platers are no better but with far less experience. It doesn’t matter which lane you’re in, doing the speed limit, they be up your tail to go faster, sometimes flashing their lights & zipping in & out of lanes to get a short distance ahead at the end of their trip. I don’t let them bully me into doing something unsafe or against the law just so they get to work on time. Then there’s the trucks & they do exactly the same with no chance of stopping if something goes wrong.

Hey Albo, would you like to buy a car from me? I’ll tell you which type it is after you’ve paid for it. Johnbrew

Albo says anyone with $150k won’t be affected by the tax changes on super that he promised weren’t going to happen before the election. He will receive much more every year when he retires until the day he dies. The good news for him and the rest of pollies is that their nest eggs are tax free so don’t expect them to be chipping in to help. The ridiculous voice and a republic is all he is interested in then retirement. This is going to be the worst gov ever. Peter

Bob Janssens letter to GCB “Your

Say” on 24th Feb is spot on. This guy writes so much sense. Keep your sane letters coming Bob. Barry. L.

Read Bob Janssen letter in your say 24/2. Chambers & Albanese Bob Janssen speaks for all us hard working Aussie’s who dream of being comfortable seeing out our twilight years we have earned it. It is not yours, Albo’s nor the government money so keep your grubby hands of our money and honour your promises that got you elected. We have young crim’s running around ruining a lot of lives and now we have the big boys taking about doing the same. So leave our money alone. Kirra boy.

Take your Super money out - if you can - and run - before Labor destroys it completely! Any bank in your shopping centre will give you better returns now.

Our super is our money for our future and not the governments. Hands off.

All the Albo baggers out there should just accept he’ll be there for the next five years, hopefully more, and look to taking up fulfilling hobbies, embracing all things good and positive, and spending more time with friends and family.

At a Committee meeting this week during the discussion about Cableway, a top Council executive said that the Goldy is losing tourism numbers to other citys and states because “we have no new tourist attractions”. WRONG! Its because the City has been so over developed that its not the vibrant, fun beachside city that we once were. Even local residents leave the Goldy and goto places like Hamilton Island, Byron, Sunshine Coast to have a nice relaxing seaside holidays.

The proposed hinterland cableway re-incarnation lacks sufficient public support to proceed and seems destined to gather cobwebs alongside the proposed coastal shipping terminal until both are dragged out, dusted down and re
