Harry’s how to: Tips on transport and what not to do

- CRYSTAL FOX

HARRY Styles fans are laying out their feather boa’s, bedazzled jackets and flare jeans as they get ready for the star to shine on the Gold Coast.

The Grammy winner and former One Direction star will arrive at Heritage Bank stadium, formerly known as Metricon Stadium, in Carrara today, as he heads towards the end of his Australia leg of the Love on Tour. Gold Coast and travelling fans have been asked by Heritage Bank Stadium to not arrive earlier than 8am.

“Any patrons queuing or camping prior to this will be asked to move on and refused entry as per our Conditions of Entry,” a Metricon Stadium statement said.

“Please note that fan made early line systems will not be honoured.”

In Styles’ first Australia show in Perth, fans were seen setting up shade tents, chairs and umbrella’s to try and secure a spot once the gates opened.

Fans have to plan their way in ahead of time as there was no parking available at the stadium.

“Parking restrictions will be enforced around the Stadium and in local streets,” it said.

“Please respect our local residents and businesses, and do not park in local streets. Penalties apply.”

Free event shuttles will be operating before and after the show, including free public transport on Queensland Rail services, Kinetic Business and G:Link Light Rail.

The shuttles will go from Nerang Station, Boowaggan Road Park ‘n’ Ride, and Broadbeach South Light Rail Station.

The shuttles will run regularly for two hours after the show.

Styles fans across the world have used his tour as a bid to create their own fashion items including bedazzled flares, sparkly cowboy hats and feather boa’s.

Think, a mixture of the 70s and 80s fashion with a spin of rainbow pride.
