Bulletin Lilly liveried weak woke journalists your story on Princess did it really need pronouns next time you interview Princess ask him to take his pants down and check his tackle I think you will find he is a bloke keep this crap up and more readers will continue to desert the bulletin pathetic effort. Mr MF

Well that’s something I’ll love to see Mark Bailey - ‘construction crews are ready to hit the ground running’ on the Coomera Connector. Sounds like it should be done in record time by that comment but I bet the record time will be how long/late it will be, looking at the time it’s taking to do other road projects.

What a pity Lisa Wilkinson, didn’t follow Brian Walshes’ advice, to “get over yourselves it’s only television. Davey baby Helensvale

The hoons have already set a precedent of taking photos in front of the GC lights. Moving them to another location will only mean the hoons will move there for photos. We’ve got to be sure we’re not throwing good money at bad.

Reading Susie O’Briens article GCB 11/03/2023 reminded me we only agreed in the plebiscite to G& L marriage. The now offered group is LGBTQIA+ group. So why are we bulldozed every day to accept the BTQIA+ group we never agreed to? Imagine if the Voice got up the hidden agendas we would again cop. A big No Voice vote is a must - Stan Forgham

So disappointed at Coles Nerang getting ride of 12 items or less . I don’t work here so refuse to do my own check out. R.R.

Exactly Mousey, Re-2/3rds too lazy to cook. It’s called going to Kmart and buying a slow cooker (bigger the better). It literally takes 5 minutes to prepare the food in the morning and come home to 8 ready meals 10 hours later. They have all the excuses but no reasons why they can’t. Johnbrew

You can’t rehome stray dog No one wants it But if you call it a rescue dog from an abusive home the wokies will line up to pay money for it.

Hey Ashmore rate payer, Aaron, here on the coast, if you live in a house you get free hard rubbish removal but if you live in a unit the council refuses you that service, and you have to pay someone to remove it. Caz

To Doofus whining about lies and propaganda about communism etc etc. You failed to nominate the most dangerous and destructive bloody lies ever perpetrated- Climate bloody Change. Complete and utter BS.

Please explain to me how an EXTRA green bin service ( & associated costs) is going to save me money? 4218

Tom , i am fed up with paying too much for rates. Your minimum amount applied to the valuation is a ripoff. How many other ratepayers are copping this also. Why cannot all ratepayers be saddled with this underhand way to make up your budget. Shame, shame, shame. Nls

Can we sack the current union superfund managers and employ those 17 self managed superfund owners who have increased their funds to over 3 million dollars. Jeff

Poor performance by Keato in the Canberra lunch chat. Bob

It seems light years apart and it is but that is the point. We need to move with the times and move forward. We have just signed a 365 billion dollar deal to acquire nuclear submarines to better protect our fair land into the future. Yet we still have people banging on about the “voice” and aggrieved people who fought with spears and muskets wanting reparations for events our forefathers dealt with. Can we not acknowledge history is history and you can’t change what happened but move on. You win some you lose some. Life moves on far faster than some civilisations do. GN

When our next state election rolls around, I wonder if our B grade Premier will mention the Qld Health payroll disaster, integrity issues in Parliament, Police and the public service, youth crime c risis, housing crisis the M1 carpark, her tax payer funded spin doctors, locking Queenslanders out during Covid and our disappearing wildlife. Martin Oxenford

Real estate sales, rentals and prices have a way of confounding the “expert” commentators. For instance, a widely publicised housing shortage and population growth in the Gold Coast have been tipped to keep real estate prices and rentals rising. Supply and demand right? But this simplistic

reasoning ignores the effect of rising interest rates on the ability to pay and a reverse in migration as people already here leave the Gold Coast and people considering moving here decide not to. That would cause a dramatic slowdown that could be closer than the experts realise.

The dramatic fall in tech stocks has brought them back to earth from the stratospheric nonsense prices they were driven to by punters.

Comments by politicians, who should know better, about Paul Keating being from a different time, suggest older people are stuck in the past and have no place commenting on current affairs. Holding and expressing such a view is repugnant, Penny Wong and other Labor politicians whose feelings are bruised. Paul Keating is listened to and his views are still respected by many. A giant compared to the very ordinary politicians that roam the halls of Parliament House

today yearning to be Prime Minister.

By no means was it the saddest experience I’ve ever endured, but geez it was still bloody gutwrenching to have to oust my life’s collection of “best music ever,” cassettes due to nothing available to play them on! Bloody big HMPH indeed.

No concern for your frozen shopping. The trouble with living not far from Cbus Super Stadium is the roads to home are blocked by police before and after NRL matches which is not good for your frozen groceries.

Skol everytime a juorno says blockbuster when describing the Broncos v Dolphins game. But in fairness it is a blockbuster.

The NRL is just comical these days, errors after errors, back in the 80’s and 90’s there would be 3 knock ons in a game, now the new breed knock on 3 times in the first 5 minutes. knock ons, missed

tackles, drop bombs and forward passed that arent called. It’s hilarious watching this code these days.

How come Glenn Miller got all the accolades after only just one hit “In The Mood?” Benny Goodman was way by far superior, musically!

The Suncorp turf best get sorted out by next week or both teams will have seriously injured players. Doug

Why are the French protesting about the pension age of 62 changing to 64. It’s 67 in Australia.

Took family to Suns-Swans. Staff very helpful. I thought a hot dog included sauce but had to pay an extra 55cents for 1 sachets. Come on guys. Let’s have a good game on the field and at the food eateries

The world has become such an I want I want I want place, what happened to a world with

compromise. Kev Helensvale

Arctic sea ice is currently thicker than it was in 2005 and is about the same as it was in 1958, but global warming is reeaaallll, okay?!?! Higgs

I don’t know what the market plan from the new developers to build a superyacht terminal at Mariners Cove is when there is a perfectly good on just down the bay at the yacht club which is greatly underused with the exception of a couple of Clive Palmers toys berthing there from time to time. It cannot be making money but then again council did throw money into it which they are really good at by supporting white elephants. Perhaps Tom can enlighten us on the reason for even considering this project. Geoffrey.

Super rugby ... I sort of remember it. Used to be a sport right? Mates tell me now it is just a joke. Such a shame, Cliff
