The Council sends a warning about storms that happened 15 hours earlier. Asleep at the wheel.

How will the current PM be remembered, if at all, after being rolled or ignored at the next election? His legacy; being the most derided and name-called PM in AUS history, double minded and flip flopping on every issue from Indigenous wellbeing to Israel, criminal freedom, keep quiet payments and zero emissions. Airbus, Airbrush.., full circle. Back to Each-Way Albo. Hawkie.

Half the new estates council have approved don’t even have enough room to drive thru if two vehicles are parked opposite each other. So where do you park ??. Some council basic common sense required before you approve development. Not blatant money grabbing ??. 4216

To no name 27/12. It has always been illegal to park on your driveway on the Councils side of your boundary. Sometimes it’s called the footpath. Tezza.

From what I saw on TV, the woman parked on her driveway but not completely inside her property. All she needed to do was go another meter or so up her driveway, and she would not have been fined but would not have become a TV and multimedia star.

Cannot believe we are living in a supposedly first world country. Following the tropical storm, Hope Island is 36 hours, that’s 2 plus days folks, without power, water, flushable toilets, lift access to apartments, ceiling fans, etc. Our fridges and freezers now full of rotting food. Absolutely no communication regarding when power will be restored. Watched several areas regain power and lights come on last night, but not Hope island. When will it happen? Janice

Carrara resident seriously wondering if the reason we are already without power for the last 52 hours and a with estimated new year’s eve re connection is simply due to ongoing storm activity and those in charge not wanting to re connect after a quicker reconnection should those storms strike again.?

Here’s the heads up Airbus Abo, Penny, Kristina & Katy are sharpening their knives. Johnbrew
