All the thanks and praise for the SES and Energex is well deserved, however I’d like to give a shout out to the guys that manned the waste trucks from Dynamic Hydro on Christmas night particularly at Monterey Keys. They worked tirelessly for 3 days to keep up the No power situation at the pump stations. Unsung heroes, if not for the amazing effort from these guys we would be literally swimming in it. Well done. Many of the regulations that businesses complain about have been introduced by governments in response to complaints by consumers, tax avoidance or other bad practices. Instead of blaming governments, businesses should apportion the blame where it belongs. To less scrupulous businesses.

I could not believe my ears when Senator Murray Watt stated the reason the ADF could not supply generators to assist poor folk in devastated areas was, “not compatible with the electricity grid”. Well then, what are they good for !!! The mind boggles. Tezza.

Why do TV Channels persist playing ridiculous musical sounds when annoucements are being made. It makes it so difficult to hear what is being said and the sounds being played are pathetic.
