The article by Matt Canavan ‘Religious freedom laws must be a major priority’ is based on Islamic phobic views on the Israel/Palestine conflict. Please remind Matt that Israel has had Palestine particularly the Gaza Strip in an open air prison and that Hamas, is the resistance group created after 75 years of genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. He needs to look into history, and not just come out with this narrative that Hamas attacked Israel on Oct 7. Also explain to Matt that the Israeli govt has in fact, admitted to killing Israelis during this attack. Look up Nakba, it’s been going on since 1940s. There are plenty of articles available online for his perusal. I suggest he do his homework before condemning the innocent civilians - babies and children being blown to bits, by the atrocious Israeli Defence Force
