Bob@Kingscliff (10/01) - so true mate, so true. Step 1 - re-introduce some good old-fashion policing. Step 2 - remove ALL of the current magistrates. Like you, the community is over the parents of these delinquents saying “they are good boys” and the judicial system saying “imprisonment doesn’t help rehabilitation”. Pedro

Our Prime Minister is jumping on the bandwagon criticising supermarkets.

ACCC to investigate supermarkets over alleged price-gouging. Someone should investigate why market domination has been allowed to happen under ACCC’s watch.

I am a Christian but have reservations about the push for “religious freedom” if it would permit discrimination against anyone on religious grounds. There is enough discrimination now without legalising it.

Why would I waste my time ‘educating’ myself on the history of Israel/Palestine. Let me take a wild guess. We kill their sons, they kill ours, we kill their sons, they kill ours .... etc etc etc. Dave

Whenever I see a car behind me with New South Wales number plates I just can’t help myself. I flick my indicator on. Then, as I approach my corner, I flick it off to execute my turn. Haha. I know it’s wrong but the facials in the rearview are priceless. Pure gold right there. Disco Dave

In the unlikely event United States courts find that presidents are immune from prosecution, the constitution would need to be changed to prevent a deranged president from running amok to stay in power.

In our systems of corporate democracy, war is an economic necessity, the perfect marriage of public subsidy and private profit: socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor. The day after 9/11 the stock prices of the war industry soared. More bloodshed was coming, which is great for business.

Whats the use of paying a snake catcher

‘Fire Ants have killed off a club game of Cricket...this will devastate families’... talk about overkill to make a headline. try talking to families left homeless because of the recent storms, never mind a stupid Cricket game !!

To Ken Wade and T Brien. In answer to both your questions 1. Mann cartoons are always anti Labor, and we have made peace with both Germany and Japan but Russia are waging a war against a free nation and should be condemned. BB

It occurs to me the PM, Mr Airbrush is attempting to normalise Government secrecy. A potentially dangerous pursuit, especially in terms of his tenure. Menzies. Simon McLean.

Re: Israel/ Gaza text 1/10, What’s with the chatroom editors word count, clearly an act of bias, only 80 words or less. No matter which side of an argument you might be on it should be a fair playing field. We now know where your support lies. The Thinker Krissy, regards wind turbines. Noone speaks of the tonnes of concrete and steel and litres of oil used plus the compensation to farmers and the additional interconnectors needed . All this and they need wind otherwise useless. Meanwhile $trillions have been committed by 2030. Ron.S
