I’m going to go and buy me a cute little G-string on the weekend and get my cute big hairy bum out and strut my stuff through surfers paradise and show all these girls up, no wait I’ll probably get arrested ..... WHY ? Kev Helensvale

I don’t mind girls wearing a g string on the beach but not at the shops and cafes do I want to sit on a hair with someone else’s bum hair on it

Bare butts on the streets ... how about filming from behind, and a competition for the wobbliest. Few are fit for public viewing ... females who don’t possess a back mirror. Flicka

All those crazies calling for the ban on G Strings must have rocks in their heads...the cheek of them or make that 2 cheeks hahaha to suggest such a thing!!! GoldyLaz

Sorry girls, as an avid admirer of shape I view 10% g string wearers acceptable on the beach, the rest are simply horrid. Wearers take a look in the mirror. Jackster

I don’t object to g string bikinis on the beach but not on footpaths or shopping centres. Now ladies who decide to show their naked bums remember to slip slop slap as bum burns can be very painful. AA

We agree with Ian Grace that g-string and skimpy bikinis should be banned from the city streets. Stay on the beach. Where is the modesty or morality of these girls ? What are they trying to prove ?? The public should not be subjected to this.

As per usual readers only read the headline not the detail. They are not saying ban the bikini on the beaches they are saying to ban them from shopping centres and inappropriately wearing them in bars and streets..I don’t care either way .. Jayar Palmy

Re-G-string public proposed ban. Another interesting fact is that 80% of women who wear yoga pants don’t do yoga and 100% of heterosexual men don’t care. Johnbrew

ARE YOU READY?? For the Albo TAX ! Why not? OR would you like a reduction in your cost of living by a reduction in fuel price? No chance! Albo has just put that up! Also alcohol, next soft drink, next your home assets , next vehicle carbon tax, next death taxes, But ripper ! your getting a scraps tax return on 1st July! Won’t that help? KB Tweed

So ol’ mate Albo is giving us a tax cut. Actually he’s giving us what the liberals had already legislated plus a bit more for some and a bit less for others. He’s ‘giving’ us the cut to help with cost of living. Fuel, beer and spirits went up this week due to excise indexation . So the 14 dollars a week you get next year will be swallowed by your first tank or your first shout. Lucky Phil

Ken Wade I don’t know where you’re watering hole is but if they put your beer up 90 cents they are ripping you off, not the government. The average price around the place was about 20 cents increase. And these twice yearly excise tax increases on beer, petrol and cigarettes were started by John Howard and the LNP in the early part
